Burma Day - Celebrating 20th Anniversary of CFOB
တည္းခိုခန္းအခမဲ့..ခရီးစရိတ္အခမဲ့လို႕ ၾကားပါတယ္..ညြန္ၾကားေရးမႈးကိုတင္ေမာင္ထူးကိုဆက္သြယ္ၾကပါ။က်ြန္ေတာ္ေျပာတယ္ေတာ့မလုပ္ပါနဲ႕ :D

Canadian Friends of Burma (CFOB) is proud to celebrate its 20th anniversary on Wednesday, February 29th, 2012.
The day will begin with a public seminar jointly hosted by Carleton University & CFOB, with live discussion with Nobel Laureate Aung San Suu Kyi. Students, professors, MPs, NGO’s and members of the Diaspora will have a rare opportunity to discuss the current context with the leader of the National League for Democracy (NLD). Members of the media are invited to this event.
Morning event (open to public)
Carleton University, Porter Hall
9:00 – 10:00am
The day will end with an award ceremony and celebration of CFOB’s 20 years of activities. This event will have a celebratory and reflective theme as well take time to note the current situation in Burma and the importance of continued engagement on Burma issues.
Special guests will be acknowledged for their contributions toward Canadian policy on Burma. There will be a balance between scheduled presentations and time to ensure people get to mingle and network.
